About Sage Data Security LLC

Our Guiding Principles

Honoring the Public Trust

At Sage Data Security, we believe that information security is more than a business.  It's a commitment to honor those who have entrusted you with their information assets. It is a shared responsibility and a civic duty.

We're All About Partnerships

As an independent information security firm, we do not represent any vendor, nor do we sell hardware or software.

We partner with our clients to create and sustain environments that realistically and cost-effectively protect information assets while maintaining a balance of productivity and operational effectiveness.

Our clients include financial institutions, healthcare organizations, government agencies, and businesses nationwide.  We are honored that so many well-respected companies have chosen Sage as their security partner, because we take our mission to protect our client’s data very seriously.

A Legacy of Education

Our founder and managing director, Sari Greene, initially started Sage Data Security in 2002 with an objective of teaching data security classes to company executives and network engineers. Responding to the growing number of requests for consultations, and new legislation mandating companies meet certain information security requirements, Sage directed its energy to addressing client requests.

Today the company has grown into a tight-knit team of 30 employees protecting clients' data using a defense-in-depth model.  We offer information security advisory, assessment, assurance, compliance, and incident response services to a wide range of clients.  Complementing our services is nDiscovery, a unique combination of Security Information Management (SIM) and Log-based Intrusion Detection (LIDS).

Educating the public about information security is a civic duty in which we take a proactive role. Our security experts spend numerous hours dedicated to community outreach.  From serving on a variety of advisory boards, speaking at local and regional conferences, to talking to community groups about identity theft, we are passionate about helping prevent information theft and fraud.  We also hold an annual CyberCrime Symposium, which brings together law enforcement, financial services providers, journalists, technologists, and researchers for a two-day intensive program.
